In these arguably-quite-strange times we live in, it takes a lot to surprise us. Donald Trump as actual President of the United States? Right. Miley Cyrus dating Cody Simpson? Cool. Rugby stars Ben Foden, Thom Evans and Levi Davis competing in The X Factor: Celebrity under the collective name Try Star? Why OF COURSE. Not weird at all.
Yep - Ben's set to join his sporting pals in the new incarnation of The X Factor for famous folk; and he this ex-wife Una Healy might be up for seeing him perform live.
Some context: Ben and ex-wife Una split back in July after he was reportedly caught cheating, with him recently marrying new girlfriend Jackie Belanoff after just two weeks of dating. That's the history we're dealing with here.
Chatting to The Sun, Ben said: "Una was always really supportive of me doing singing and stuff.
"I did singing on All Together Now and League Of Their Own, and Una was always very supportive of me doing that.
"She’d always, like, coach me a little bit. But she doesn’t have very much patience with me because I’m not the best singer. She’d be like, 'do this' and I’m like 'I don’t know what that is,' and she’d be like: 'everyone knows what that is in the singing industry'."

Try Stars

Vinnie Jones
After initially pulling out of the show following the tragic death of his wife Tanya in July, Vinnie Jones was invited to the live shows by Simon Cowell, with the former footballer saying, "I'd be honoured, she would love me to do it." Sadly, he left the competition in Week 5 with Try Stars.

Victoria Ekanoye
After quitting Coronation Street in January this year, soap star Victoria Ekanoye landed a role on Celebrity X Factor, but her time on the show was cut short when she was voted out in the second live show.
No Love Lost
Despite singing some of their original songs on the show, Love Island stars Samira Mighty, Eyal Booker, Zara McDermott and Wes Nelson were given the boot during the third live show.
Martin Bashir
After forgetting his lyrics the week before, the third live show proved the end for broadcasting legend Martin Bashir.
Then came the rather ridiculous bit. Ben reckons Una might actually come down to see his band perform in the live shows. He added: "Obviously my kids, I’d love to get them down to the show. I’ll ask Una whether she’ll come or not, and then we’ll see. Obviously my wife will come as well and she’ll support me."
Alrighty then.
The X Factor: Celebrity starts this Saturday 12th October on ITV at 8.35pm.
