EXCITING CELEBRITY NEWS ALERT! Benedict Cumberbatch and wife Sophie Hunter have welcomed a baby boy.
The little one is the first child for the couple who revealed they were expecting back in January.
A spokesperson for the actor told The Sun: “Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter are delighted to announce the arrival of their beautiful son.
“We would kindly ask everyone to respect the family’s privacy during these next few precious weeks.”
Benedict and Sophie, who met while filming Burlesque Fairytales in 2009, married on Valentine’s Day this year at the St. Peter & St. Paul Church near Brighstone on the Isle of Wight.
They enjoyed a lavish reception with friends and family at the nearby manor before Benedict whisked his wife off to Tahiti and Bora Bora on their honeymoon.
On their romance, Sophie previously told Vogue: “When two people meet and it’s the right combination, it does ground you suddenly.”
