Celebrities. There was once a time when they seemed so god-like, beautiful and distant from the real world that it was almost depressing. But over the years, we've been let into their world of beauty inch by inch, as more and more of them have introduced their own beauty lines - in response to the ever-growing public demand to look like them!
And no, we're not just talking Britney Spears Fantasy perfume circa 2001 - we're talking makeup lines, skincare ranges and even smoothie powders.
Here's our round up of our fave celebrity beauty lines:
Jessica Alba
Jessica's range of skincare and makeup products is a 'safe', natural and diverse range. Alba told ELLE magazine; "I've been getting my makeup done professionally since I was 12 and I've never found a brand that could create that glowing look and flawless finish we all want from beauty products with ingredients that were effective and safe. So I had to create it. There's so many different skin tones and types and finding the right products for your look shouldn't be as challenging as it is. I know from experience - I didn't grow up seeing girls like you and me represented, so I'm excited to change the game".
Miranda Kerr
Miranda's line of certified organic skincare is made in Australia, and designed to "nourish, replenish, protect and detoxify!".
Elle Macpherson
The Super Elixir, founded by Elle Macpherson, is a super green supplement powder and a blend of 45 key ingredients, inluding alkalising super greens, digestive enzymes and chinese herbs. Elle told Get The Gloss about the concept behind the product; "There's so much discussion surrounding health and fitness, but what I really aspire to is wellness. Spiritual, emotional and physical... and in my experience they are closely interrelated. It's not something you achieve simply through going to the gym, using expensive creams or speaking to a therapist, it's a feeling of balance and strength that originates from within and on a cellular level. The Super Elixir balances and strengthens me, to enable me to be the woman and mother I want to be, and now I want to share it!". Well, that's reason enough for us to want to give it a go!
Kat Von D
The famous tattooist developed this 100% cruelty free makeup line, and made it really big when she introduced her foundation that could literally cover pretty much any tattoo!
Kardashian Beauty
The Kardashian empire has grown massively over the years, from clothing lines, to books, to TV shows, and now to beauty. The range of tools and products are pretty much endless!
Kylie Jenner
After all of the speculation about just how Kylie Jenner achieves her super plump pout, the girl with potentially the most famous lips in the world decided to make some money from it - with her uber cool range of lip kits, with a wide range of colours to suit every complexion.
