She’s already got one fierce alter ego, Sasha Fierce, but could Beyonce be about to become an actual superhero?
The singer and mum-of-one last graced the big screen 6-years-ago but looks set to do it all over again and this time in spandex. Queen Bey is reportedly in talks with Marvel and Disney about her possible upcoming role as a superhero.
Bey already has an impressive CV when it comes to movies.
In 2006 she got a nomination for her role in Dreamgirls, the flick that saw her lose lots of weight pre-filming on her cray cray Cayenne Pepper, Maple Syrup, Lemon and water diet (pass us a biscuit). She has also starred in Austin Powers In Goldmember, the Pink Panther and, most recently, opposite Idris Elba in Obsessed.
A senior exec at Disney told the Daily Star, “We would love to have Beyoncé on board, almost certainly as a newcomer to the screen from Marvel’s existing catalogue of comic book characters.”
Most of Beyonce’s onstage costumes look pretty superhero to us so it isn’t too hard to imagine the star flapping around the universe with a badass cape looking to help people. Let’s just hope she doesn’t do a Madonna and hit the deck, eh?
We reckon her superpower will probably be the ability to twerk no matter what situation she’s in. Maybe every twerk she does makes lightening bolts shoot out of her bootylicious butt?
Or maybe she could fight for the rights of vegans, animals and all that is green in the world? She sure does love veggies…
