‘Demure’ isn’t quite the word that springs to mind when it comes to Bianca Censori’s sartorial choices, but last week, the architect and wife of Kanye West managed to pull off just that as she emerged uncharacteristically covered up whilst on stepmum duty with her rapper husband’s four children.
In a black turtleneck, a pair of black leggings and low heels, Bianca appeared to want to dodge the paparazzi as she shepherded Chicago, seven, Saint, nine, and Psalm, six, into a parked car in LA.
And while days later, the Yeezy model, 30, slipped back into a metallic silver swimsuit that emulated Kanye’s ex Kim Kardashian's own style whilst posing for a photo shoot, a source now tells heat that the thoughtfulness Bianca has shown in ditching her risqué outfits whilst caring for Kim and Kanye's kids has gone a long way to building bridges between the pair.
The insider tells us, ‘Bianca has always had the utmost respect towards Kim, even if they’ve clashed in the past over how she dressed in front of the kids and the way she’s shamelessly copycatted her style.
‘But time’s been a big healer, Kim has no big beef with Bianca now and she’s grateful they’ve managed to compromise on some of the issues that were causing tension. Her ultra-sexy outfits were a big sticking point in the past, but Bianca’s totally toned it down and it’s marked a huge turning point for their relationship.’
So much so, the source now divulges that, following their temporary split in April after Kanye’s latest vile outburst on social media, Bianca has been tentatively confiding in Kim, 44, and asking for tips as to how to help control Kanye’s unpredictable behaviour. Kim, in turn, has vowed to be there for Bianca if she needs her.
‘They met up recently for coffee and Bianca confided about some of the problems she and Kanye have been having,’ the insider says.
‘She asked for tips about how to calm him down and offered to play peacemaker between Kim and Kanye so they can hopefully figure out a more respectful and less chaotic co-parenting dynamic.'
They add, ‘That went a long way with Kim, who’s now seeing Bianca in a whole new light. And let’s face it, there’s no question Bianca will benefit from her support if she does finally pull the trigger and divorce Kanye.’
And there’s no doubt that the two women share many attributes. Not only do they look alike and share a similar sense of style, but both are career driven, ambitious and while Bianca has a Master’s degree in Architecture, Kim graduated from law school in May.
Now the source adds, ‘Bianca has always had the utmost respect towards Kim, she considers her a total icon and believes that in a different life they could have been soul sisters because they have so much common ground.’
Kanye, of course, is one very common ground, with both Kim and Bianca having faced turbulent times with the rapper, who has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
Kanye, 48, and Bianca, who wed in 2022, have faced months of speculation over their marriage, with questions raised as to how much of an active role she plays in the ‘stunts’ the 'disgraced' rapper pulls – which have seen him ‘style’ Bianca in extremely risque outfits for attention.
Just last month, Kanye sparked further furore when after seeing the edible underwear Bianca wore out in public, his friend, fellow rapper 50 Cent publicly referred to Bianca as ‘Ye dirty little wife’ and ask whether she was going to be ‘a victim later’.
Meanwhile, Kim and Kanye have been locked in a very public battle over their four children, including their eldest daughter North West, 12. The former couple, who divorced in 2022, months before he married Bianca, currently share joint custody.
But while Kanye publicly ranted about not having access to his children earlier this year and labelled the school they attend as ‘fake’, sources have also revealed that Kim has growing concerns over Kanye’s erratic behaviour and had been considering fighting for a legal change in their agreement.
It was also revealed last September that Kim had demanded that Kanye and Bianca keep the kids on a ‘tight schedule’, and travel with Kim’s own nannies and security detail.
However, the source now says that Bianca’s growing acquaintance with former ‘nemesis’ Kim has led to attempts on her part to try and diffuse the tense battle.
The insider says, ‘Even when Kanye’s been ranting and raving [about Kim] Bianca’s made a point not to jump in or get caught up in the negativity. In fact, she’s actually defended her and managed to calm the situation down a lot behind the scenes, telling Kanye that he needs to go easier on Kim and remember what a good mom she is to their four kids.
‘It’s a big reason why the custody dispute hasn’t exploded into all-out war, because Kim has come to accept that Bianca is a good person deep down who is a good influence on Kanye and also extremely respectful with the kids.
‘She doesn’t overstep her boundaries or try to spoil them too much, and they always come home feeling calm and saying nice things about Bianca.’
Yet, while the insider describes Bianca’s latest ‘shock outfit’ and growing closeness to Kim as a ‘genius move’ and great for the children, they tell us that Kanye is less than impressed with this new unlikely friendship.
‘Bianca extending out an olive branch to Kim doesn’t sit well with Kanye at all,’ the source says.
‘Kanye is aware that Kim and Bianca are talking, it makes him feel pretty uneasy and he would prefer if they had no one-on-one dialogue at all. He’s told Bianca to be wary of Kim and her family, that they’re trying to pull her in with their classic manipulation tactics, and that it’s dangerous to get too close to them.
‘But Bianca’s promised him there’s nothing to worry about here and that she needs him to show trust. But he’s an incredibly paranoid guy and worries where this is all headed.’
