Not many celebs make it from Big Brother to Strictly Come Dancing.
In fact, we can’t even think of any Celebrity Big Brother stars who have tried to salsa their way to victory on the show.
So it’s pretty impressive that Big Brother 2016 star Hughie Maughan has landed a spot in the Irish version of Strictly, Dancing With The Stars!
YASS! We cannot wait to see Hughie’s costumes.
After all the drama he caused on this year’s Big Brother, we reckon he’ll be pretty great at the tango. And can you IMAGINE the costumes? Literally, why isn’t this on our screens RIGHT THIS SECOND.
Hughie’s fiancé and fellow BB contestant Ryan Ruckledge (we still can’t get over how cute these two are) is obvs mega proud, posting a picture of Hughie in full Strictly gear on Instagram.
He captioned the picture:
"So proud of my boy @hughiemaughanofficial who is going to be taking part in Ireland's dancing with the Stars in January! I'm so happy for you achieving something with your life you really deserve, most amazing boyfriend ever and can't wait to support you every weekend! Your gonna smash it and I love you so so much".
SO sweet.
Ryan also couldn’t wait to get gushy on Twitter:
"So proud of my boy @hughie_maughan who is going to be on @rte dancing with the Stars, I'll be there every weekend to support u, so proud."
Ryan didn’t stop there…
"We all knew @hughie_maughan was going to be the true winner of @bbuk it's true what they say the winners don't always come first, Jason who?"
Oooooooh, burn.
This is the first time there’s been an Irish version of the BBC show. As well as Hughie, comedian Des Bishop and HomeTown singer Daryl Cronin have signed up.
