In some deeply disturbing news, Blake Lively has totally erased her (epic) social media presence and deleted every single one of her Instagram photos.
Yup. Gone are the ridiculously cute family snaps with husband Ryan Reynolds and daughter James and Ines, no longer can we scroll her feed for outfit inspo and our days of sobbing over her impossibly perfect pictures of luscious locks are over (this one may be a good thing, actually).
But, fear not, Blake’s Instagram cleanse isn’t a 2018 way of telling the world her and Ryan (aka the best celeb couple in the history of celeb couples) are over. It’s actually all an elaborate promo stunt for her new film, A Simple Favour.
The film is a thriller which sees Anna Kendrick play vlogger Stephanie, who makes it her mission to track down her BFF Emily Nelson (played by Blake) after she goes missing from their hometown.
Seemingly trying out the method acting approach, Blake has removed all trace of her from Instagram. And, to further get into character perhaps, it looks as though the actor’s been reaching out to IRL Emily Nelsons – as she’s only following people of that name on Insta.

It’s not yet known when Blake will resume normal service on The Gram, but we’re hoping it’s pretty darn soon. We could do with some Blake v Ryan internet trolling to brighten up our single AF lives, tbh.
