Ryan Reynolds has FINALLY given the world (of celebrity gossip, at least) what they're waiting for - the baby name he and Blake Lively chose for their little girl.
Speaking on The Today Show, Ryan revealed the name they chose was...JAMES. Pretty cute, huh?
The TV host managed to wangle the info out of Ryan by starting with a joke:
"You did say a few months ago, before she was born, that you were going to name her Excalibur Anaconda Reynolds" he began. "So can we call her Anna at least - short for Anaconda?"
"That is not the child's name," Ryan Reynolds joked. "It's Butternut Summersquash."
LOL! Then, after all that joshing around, Ryan revealed the baby's ACTUAL name.
"It's James," he added. "Everyone knows."
"I didn't want to be the first guy screaming it out to the media," Ryan explained. "Because as we know, little girls turn into teenage girls and little teenage girls sometimes scan through the archives and go, 'Why did you do that?'"
We think little James will totally understand Ryan - when your parents are mega stars, the whole world wants to know your business.
