Be still our beating hearts. But not yours, Shia
Be still our beating hearts. But not yours, Shia

Now, Shia LaBeouf has been known for his somewhat controversial red carpet habits all in the name of art. But the latest has us even more confused. The Transformers star has got together with his #IAMSORRY collaborators, Luke Turner and Nastja Sade Ronkko to livestream his heartbeat for the whole week. Yes, you can listen to it ALL WEEK. From walking up the stairs to sitting on the loo to working out at the gym, the possibilities of what this piece of modern art has to offer are endless. #FOLLOWMYHEART is in response to lots of fancy schmancy arty things such as our hearts being our inner guide and GPS etc etc, but it's also making a statement towards Shia's panic attacks he has suffered throughout his life. Mr LaBeouf said at a panel discussion: "Every time my heart rate goes up, I'll stop, breathe and focus on getting my heart rate lower numerically. I've had panic attacks throughout most of my life, whether it's at work or whether I've been drinking heavy. I haven't had that for a while, and this is a constant reminder to stay at a constant numerical place to find peace."

Fancy listening to Shia's heart instead of the new Taylor Swift album? Pump it up here.
