Were all heartbroken when Brangelina announced the demise of their two year marriage.

And now Brad Pitt has requested a judge to grant him joint custody of his and Angelina Jolie's six children.

The couple have six children that Jolie is seeking sole physical custody of.

Brad’s request was part of his response to Angelina’s petition to end their two-year marriage.

Custody has been a major issue in the couple’s split, with Pitt being investigated over an alleged incident during a private flight in mid-September.

The couple reached a temporary custody agreement that allowed the actor to visit the children while a child welfare agency carried out the investigation.

Brad's submission to the judge cites irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split and makes no mention of a pre-nuptial agreement.
