Former Westlife singer Brian McFadden has announced that he has undergone a hair transplant with some VERY detailed photos of the procedure.
Brian, 37, who was previously married to Kerry Katona and model Vogue Williams, made the revelation on his Instagram page with a series of photos and videos updating his fans on the process.
Admitting his reasons for the procedure, the dad-of-two wrote a lengthy explanation on the caption: "The last few years my hair line has been thinning and receding due to my lifestyle and the general stresses we go through in life."
He continued: "It’s been really making me self-conscious and uncomfortable so I decided to do something about it.
"I never thought the the answer to my problem was the young boy who sat beside me in school!!! Simon my old school buddy is the man behind the magic. It’s such a small crazy world."
Brian posted the following photos of his hair transplant - but beware, if you are a bit squeamish, it's probably best to scroll through quite quickly...!

Brian isn't the first celebrity male to undergo a hair transplant - Wayne Rooney brought the trend to the fore in 2011, with men such as Louis Walsh, Joe Swash and Dancing On Ice judge Jason Gardiner following suit.
This comes only a few days after his ex-wife, Vogue Williams, announced her engagement to Made In Chelsea star Spencer Matthews.
Revealing the engagement, Spencer, whose brother James is married to Pippa Middleton, posted a photo of a very excited Vogue wearing a MASSIVE ring with the caption: "She said YES!"
