If you can actually believe it, the queen that is Britney Spears has been making music for over TWO decades. Although she first got signed in 1997 at the age of just 16, Britney put her first album, '...Baby One More Time', out in 1999 - which makes it 20 years old this month.

We know. Utterly SHOCKING.

To mark the momentous occasion, Brit has shared an adorable throwback of her first album cover, and shared a heartfelt caption that had many of her fans welling up.

She wrote, 'Can you believe that this album was released 20 years ago today??!! I can’t. It’s definitely been the journey of a lifetime, full of ups and downs, but I’m grateful for every single moment of it all.

'Getting to know you all over the years has been such an incredible experience, and has made this all worth it. Thank you for your support from 20 years ago, all the way to today. I am blessed ❤️ #20yearsofbritney.' [sic]
