Britney Spears’ new boyfriend signs confidentiality agreement

When you’ve got a new boyfriend, nothing says I love you like ‘sign on the dotted line…’

But then again, it depends what you’re asking them to sign and in the case of Britney Spears and her new man, Charlie Ebersol, it’s a confidentiality agreement.

How romantic.

Since splitting with David Lucado in August, Britney isn’t taking any chances with her latest squeeze and according to TMZ asked him to sign the nondisclosure agreement over lunch, with a friend of the star’s adding:

“We're told it wasn't awkward at all. Charlie knew the NDA was SOP for anyone who enters Britney's world.”

Now David is unable to speak about Britney to anyone without the consent of her or her dad, Jamie, who acts as the 31-year-old’s conservator.

Breaching the terms will, according to insiders, leave Charlie facing “severe penalties” which we’re assuming are financial.

There’d be no point otherwise, would there?

Charlie is a TV producer who’s previously dated Sophia Bush and tennis player Maria Sharapova.

We’re not sure if he’s ready for this wild ride, but we’ll soon see.
