She was granted her freedom in November, after 13 years living under a harsh conservatorship, so it’s no surprise Britney Spears has been living it large since then. Celebrating her 40th birthday with a trip to Mexico, the singer has indulged in Champagne, cigarettes and cake – and we say, “You go, girl”.

But now that the star is thinking seriously about trying to get pregnant, her fiancé Sam Asghari is ready to take on the role of her personal trainer to get her feeling as healthy as possible. Britney – who has two teenage sons from her marriage to Kevin Federline – has been very vocal about wanting to start a family with fiancé Sam, recently posting a seemingly joke video of her rocking and feeding a “baby”. In the caption, she wrote, “New addition to the family. Guess if it’s a boy or a girl…”

In her explosive testimony in court back in June, the singer revealed her desire for more children, explaining, “I have an [IUD] inside of myself right now, so I don’t get pregnant. I wanted to take the [IUD] out, so I could start trying to have another baby, but this so-called team won’t let me go to the doctor to take it out because they don’t want me to have children.”

But now the conservatorship has been removed, Britney is focused on her future and wants to be in top health for getting pregnant. “Sam encouraged Britney to enjoy the holidays, but to pick a day when she’s ready to jump back on the health horse and stay there, basically,” we’re told. “He’ll be by her side and there to talk sense into her if she wavers or tries to quit [the health kick].”

Any Britney follower knows she is a fan of exercise. Whether it’s dancing, kickboxing or yoga, the singer often shares videos of her workouts. But 27-year-old Sam, who works as a personal trainer and model, is on a whole other level – and one which Britney is keen to try and keep up with.

We’re told, “Sam is a proud and self-confessed health fanatic – it’s how he makes his living, and he loves being a positive influence for the people he cares about. He’s proud to tell inspiring stories about his own journey, and how he transformed his lifestyle as an adult after falling into bad eating habits when he was younger. Britney is in awe of how disciplined and smart he is on this subject, and it’s really rubbed off on her in terms of making better choices and taking far greater care of herself. Still, she does fall on and off that health wagon – and did so during the most stressful moments involving her conservatorship. She’s been struggling a little more than usual lately for obvious reasons.”
