It has been reported by TMZ that Bruce Jenner was involved in a three-car pile-up on Saturday that left one person dead and seven injured.

Bruce was driving on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu at around noon when the incident occurred - several eye witnesses were reported to have seen Bruce rear end a white car.

The white car then went into oncoming traffic and was struck by the Hummer. The website reports that eyewitnesses say the driver of the white car, who was a female, died at the scene.

Bruce told the authorities he was being chased by 5 paparazzi when he rear ended the white car. He was not drinking and volunteered to do a field sobriety test, which he passed, according to Jenner family sources.

The 65-year-old former Olympian hit the Lexus and sent it flying into a Hummer.

The rest of those involved, excluding Bruce who walked away unharmed, were left with minor/moderate injuries.

The Sheriff's department tweeted: "Fatal Traffic Collision: 1212pm. 26000 blk Pacific Coast Hwy at Corral Cyn Malibu PCH Closed both directions".

There was a further update which read: "Update: 4 vehicle collision. PCH Malibu 1 driver fatality. 5 minors transported to hospital. 3 other drivers cooperating w/@LHSLASD."

Fernando, @unclenandough, tweeted a picture of the scene of the accident with the caption: "Bruce Jenner in bad accident on PCH in Malibu. He's aight, but others involved not so much".

It's reported that Bruce has been living in a Malibu beach house since separating from wife, Kris Jenner.
