It’s reported Kim Howes lost her life after the car she was travelling in was involved in a collision with a stationary car and Bruce Jenner’s vehicle, on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, on Saturday afternoon.

“My heartfelt and deepest sympathies go out to the family and loved ones, and to all of those who were involved or injured in this terrible accident,” the 65-year-old said in a statement. “It is a devastating tragedy and I cannot pretend to imagine what this family is going through at this time.”

He added: “I am praying for them. I will continue to cooperate in every way possible.”

Bruce walked away unscathed from the crash and was seen looking shaken at the side of the road before being joined by his son, Brody, and his girlfriend Kaitlynn Carter who rushed to be with Bruce.

The former Olympian – who is currently in the process of changing his gender – was breathalysed at the scene (which came back negative for alcohol) and volunteered to have a blood test at the local police station to show he did not have any substances in his system.

Some reports in the US claim Bruce is being investigated for using his phone behind the wheel and, although officers are looking into the phone records of the drivers involved in the crash, his representative has denied Bruce was texting while driving.
