Bruno Mars has got a rep for being a bit of a cutie. As much as he tried to shake off the nice boy image with the explicit get-down tune, Gorilla, we just weren't buying it.
And Uptown Funk? Just TRY and watch him strutting around the street in his pink blazer without wanting to grab his cheeks like an annoying auntie.
Even when Bruno – aka Peter Hernandez as he's known to his family – was the subject of a mad hate tirade by a musician prone to ruining people's moments at award ceremonies – coughkanyecough – he didn't retaliate and just took it on the chin.
So much love.
Plus that now famous picture of him standing next to Taylor Swift looking tiny and adorable is firmly secured in our purses, because the last time we saw something as n'aaawww-inducing was when we found out Boo The Dog had released a new book.
BUT were we wrong about him this entire time?!
It's possible, and after hearing what he was saying about our absolute idol and BFF, Adele, we're not so sure he belongs in our purses anymore.
GASP.
Why? Well. Bruno was on a US radio chat show when he went completely rogue and said that Adele had "diva attitude".
Um – say that again, Mr Mars? There's already a gaggle of Daydreamers ready to hunt you down.
"She walks into the studio, she's got all this attitude, she's a diva, she's like, 'I don't want to do this. I don't like that … '" he told the radio hosts.
"And then as soon as we hit a couple chords that she liked, we started rolling, and that's where we got that song from."
Mmmmkay. You've got a bit of explaining to do here, laddo. No one badmouths the Queen of Broken Hearts.
But - we think we can relax and believe in the good Bruno once again.
The old charmer was simply explaining how much of a superstar she was and went on to explain how incredible she really is.
"There was a moment when she was singing in the both and I'm not exaggerating at all … the water was vibrating – like you know that scene in Jurassic Park?
"She's got some pipes on her, and she's just a superstar."
That's more like it, mate. We forgive you.
