Caitlyn Jenner has seemingly changed her mind about same sex marriage, just a week after saying she “didn’t get it”.
Speaking on the Ellen DeGeneres Show last Tuesday, the reality star said: “I’m a traditionalist. I’m older than most people in the audience. I kind of like tradition, and it’s always been a man and a woman. I’m thinking, ‘I don’t quite get it’.”

But in a blog post for her website, Caitlyn clarified what she meant by her remarks – and insisted that she does believe in equal marriage.
“Like many people, there was a time when I didn’t realise how important it is for gay couples to have the right to get married,” she wrote.
“But after hearing from my gay friends and learning more about the hardships they faced because of discrimination, it became clear to me that everyone should be able to marry the person they love.”
Caitlyn, formerly known as Bruce Jenner, was married to Kris Jenner for 22 years, until their divorce in December 2014.
She then came out as transgender earlier this year, and in an interview said life as a woman is a matter of mental state and lifestyle.
While she hasn’t undergone gender reassignment surgery, Caitlyn says has never been attracted to men and now identifies as asexual.
Later in her blog post, Caitlyn says many people have asked her what she’ll be doing next.
“I’m going to take breather for a minute. I want to continue to grow as a person,” she said.
“In so many ways I feel like I’m a teenage girl discovering herself! I’m still trying to figure out what it means to be a woman and I will continue that process. Because you know what? It’s a lot of fun!”
