When Caitlyn Jenner revealed her new look to the world on the cover of Vanity Fair, aside from how gorgeous she looked, everyone was talking about her name choice. Why Caitlyn? And why no name with a 'K', like the rest of her family?
Well now she has revealed the answer to the magazine, suggesting it was her assistant Rhonda that helped choose the name - but televised beauty pageants also helped inspire her.
"It's one of the hardest things in life - choosing your own name," she confessed.
Apparently, Jenner had thought Heather or Cathy while watching said beauty pageants, but then her assistant mentioned Caitlyn and that was it. And she did briefly consider using a 'K' - but then decided to pave her own way by opting for a 'C'.
Since the* Vanity Fair* cover came out, Caitlyn broke records by becoming the fastest person to reach 1 million followers on the site. She will also receive a special Courage Award at America's ESPY awards, which celebrate figures in sport.
