The tweet that suggested Calvin Harris had waded in on the mild Twitter spat between Taylor Swift and Avril Lavigne was FAKE.
The world-famous DJ took to Twitter to confirm that the supposedly deleted tweet was in fact PhotoShopped.
It all began when Taylor liked a post on Tumblr that made out she's so much better with her fans than other celebrities. These other celebrities included a grumpy Kanye West, a soulless Katy Perry picture and an awkward snap of Avril Lavigne stood about a metre away from a fan during a $400 meet and greet. These Avril snaps previously went viral for their super-awkward-awesomeness.

In response, Avril quoted the post and added: "Comparison is judging and judging a person does not define who they are it defines who you are. We all Love our fans"
She then tweeted a non-awkward collage of her being a nice smiley celebrity and added, "So let's keep it all about the love and stay positive."
Although this time the tweet was fake, Calvin has previously come to Tay-Tay's defence on Twitter. In early August, Zayn Malik retweeted a tweet that compared Taylor's money-driven attitude with Miley Cyrus, who said she'd made her money and didn't need anything else, which set Calvin off.
He went as mad as you can on Twitter without typing in all caps, posting to Zayn: "You've made your money? Cool…fk the 99% of musicians who depend on these services to survive right? Yeah fk em."
He added: "If u don't get what it means when a successful artist uses their celebrity to benefit every other musician and songwriter in the industry stay out my f**kin mentions pls."
Calvin later apologised and said it was "the quote and not [Zayn] personally" that angered him.
