When Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden welcomed their daughter Raddix, they declared their family to be “complete”.
But two years later, insiders say the couple are getting broody again. In fact, they’re already talking about lining up a surrogate in time for the actress’ milestone 50th birthday in August.
“Cameron and Benji love being parents more than anything in the world,” says a source close to the couple, who celebrated seven years of marriage in January.
“It’s an open secret among their friends that they’ll be expanding their family again soon.
"Obviously, it’s her big birthday coming up and a new baby would be the ultimate gift. Using a surrogate worked perfectly for them last time, so – all being well – they’ll have a newborn in their arms by the end of the year.”

Earlier this month, the usually private Cameron opened up about her marriage, praising Benji, 43, as “a mensch” (that’s a person of integrity and honour, but we definitely all knew that).
The 49 year old added, “He’s the best dad ever. I could cry, because he’s just the best.” And friends say it’s the Good Charlotte musician who is keen to start the surrogacy process immediately.
We’re told, “Benji is so close to his twin brother Joel, as well as his other siblings, and he wants Raddix to have that experience. He can’t imagine her being an only child and wants them to be close in age. He and Cam are both extremely excited and already tentatively making plans for the nursery. They’re two hugely devoted parents, who have so much love to give. Everyone’s hoping it happens for them very soon.”
