While most of the Love Island couples are gallivanting about getting engaged, moving in together, flooding Instagram with loved-up snaps, doing PAs at kebab shops and the like, Jamie Jewitt and Camilla Thurlow fall into a vastly different category.
Since leaving the villa, Camilla’s been busy with her amazing charity work, and she’s currently making a docu-reality series called The New Activists with Huffington Post, as well as working with aid organisation Help Refugees.
Because they haven’t been seen much publicly together, many fans have questioned whether Jamilla are still an item.
But we have good news – Camilla has finally opened up about their relationship, revealing they’re still very much together.
“We don't feel any pressure, as long as we’re happy,' she told the MailOnline. 'We are just taking things at our own pace.”
She also spoke about his previous battle with depression, which he opened up about after finishing Love Island. “He is great at bringing that up and asking those questions [about mental health],”she said. “He is going to make a huge difference. He has my absolute full support.”
She also said that Jamie was good at making her ‘feel good’ about herself (she’s previously spoken about her insecurities while with him), saying: “Any woman might feel great for 12 hours in the day, but then in the evening you don’t feel great about yourself. It's a very normal thing.”
Jamilla, we love ya.
