If you've ever fancied auditioning for The X Factor but couldn't be faffed standing in line for hours - this year is your chance to shine.
Hopeful contestants can bypass the queues and nerve-wracking opener with the judges by posting a video of their performance on the X Factor website or through Facebook Live.
Returning host Dermot O'Leary is pumped about the access this gives a whole new audience, saying the process was "blowing his mind".
In a special video to promote the online auditions, Dermot says: "You'll be able to audition for The X Factor on Facebook from the comfort of your own home - how does that even work?
"What am I going to do now?"
If you believe the rumours, top that £1 million paycheck since Caroline Flack got the flick and Olly Murs quit.
Simon Cowell is breaking new ground for reality TV by embracing the power of social media to sort the wheat from the chaff in the preliminary rounds.
Kirsty Hunter, Acting MD for Shotglass Media said: “Using Facebook Live will allow our team to see applicants who can't make it to the existing auditions in person.
"It gives potential contestants a new way to be involved with the show using the latest technology from one of the most popular social media platforms.
"We are very excited to be working with Facebook to integrate live video in auditions and throughout the series.”
How it works is actually pretty simple.
Log into Facebook to book a live audition for this Sunday (29 May), click on the Update Status link and select the Live Video icon.
If you miss out on Facebook, The X Factor website takes applications in a popular format used by most mobile phones and cameras.
