We've been bawling and bawling ever since we heard the news that Love Island's power couple Nathan Massey and Cara de la Hoyde had split up for good, and things got even more :( when Nathan emotionally spoke about the split in a guest appearance on TOWIE.
"It's completely over now. Sadly," he tells them. "We were just under each other's feet too much.
"The littleist thing would spark a massive argument. I just thought to myself, 'Where's this going?'
“I'm not saying it's her, I'm not saying it's me. It's just brought me down a lot.”
WAAAAAAAH.
But while Nathan often makes the odd TOWIE appearance (normally with best bud Tommy Mallett) it's been heavily rumoured that Cara will soon be joining the cast as a full-time member.
And with the news that Kate Wright is apparently quitting the show in the wake of her new romance with Rio Ferdinand, Cara could definitely fill her place. On in, one out and all that.
A source close to the star told The Sun: "Cara is expected to sign on the dotted line – she has got lots to say and Towie bosses know that fans are really interested in her relationship with Nathan and their split.
"They know how popular Cara is because of her huge social media following and there will be lots of mileage in her as a full-time cast member."
The source add that Cara will definitely dish the details on their year-long relationship: "Everyone is desperate to find out the real reason why she split with Nathan and by joining the show, she promises to reveal just that."
She'd definitely make a FAB addition to the cast, but what about Nathan? Surely that's just double AWKS.
