OMG this has to be the most awkward interview we've ever seen.

Cara Delevingne was interviewed by a US morning talk show who told the British supermodel that perhaps she should 'take a nap' and 'get a red bull' because she appeared to be unenthusiastic about her upcoming movie Paper Towns. Totes awks.

In the disastrous interview with Good Day Sacremento, one of the host asks a series of slightly patronising questions. Including if Cara has read the book, which the film was adapted from, before starring in it.

Following that, the first big trainwreck occurs when her co-host follows up with asking if being busy makes it easier to focus.

“No. I don’t know where that comes from,” Cara responds.

The third host asks why Cara isn't visibly thrilled to be talking about her new film and even questions the star if she's exhausted. It gets worse.

Although Cara gives several sarcastic responses the interview comes to a sour end.

The model turned actress, who plays Margo in Paper Towns, is *told: *"You seem irritated or maybe it's just us?" To which Cara responds: “No, I think it’s just you.”

“We’ll let you go then, how ’bout that?” replies. Before finishing with: “Why don’t you go take a little nap, maybe get a Red Bull?”

Cara is heard saying, "that's just too far now" before the screen goes dead.

After the interview ended, the anchors continued to make comments about Cara. Literally adding salt to the wounds.

After complaining Cara “was in a mood,” one host shockingly adds: “You make $5 million for six weeks of work, you can pretend to talk to ‘Good Day Sacramento’ with some ‘oomph’!”

Well, that went smoothly didn't it. NOT.

Earlier today Cara tweeted: "Some people just don't understand sarcasm or the British sense of humour." Clearly, Cara. Clearly.
