Cara Delevingne has been doing her bit for the world’s emotional wellbeing this week, giving hope to everyone who grew up looking like they’ve been hit with a pan.

While on the promo circuit for her new film Paper Towns, the model-turned-actress claimed that she looked “scary” as a child.

Cara the younger is played by 12-year-old Hannah Alligood – who, according to Cara herself, looks nothing like actual Cara when she was a small child.

“[I didn’t look like Young Margo] at all,” she told KISS FM. “I looked like a weird kind of albino gremlin. All of my facial features were at the bottom of my face and the rest was my forehead.

“I was a really scary child.”
