Cara Delevingne has been doing her bit for the world’s emotional wellbeing this week, giving hope to everyone who grew up looking like they’ve been hit with a pan.

While on the promo circuit for her new film Paper Towns, the model-turned-actress claimed that she looked “scary” as a child.

Cara spoke exclusively on KISS Breakfast with Rickie, Melvin and Charlie last week, revealing all about her role as mysterious Margo, who at one point in the film is played by a child actor.

Cara the younger is played by 12-year-old Hannah Alligood – who, according to Cara herself, looks nothing like actual Cara when she was a small child.

“[I didn’t look like Young Margo] at all,” she told KISS FM. “I looked like a weird kind of albino gremlin. All of my facial features were at the bottom of my face and the rest was my forehead.

“I was a really scary child.”
