However, in an appearance at the MTV VMAs last night (20th August), Cardi showed off a brand new hairstyle that is completely different to her previously looks - and fans are LOVING it.
The 'I Like It' songstress debuted a stunning pixie crop on the red carpet at the VMAs, also choosing a bright purple dress for the occasion, before changing into a strapless red prom dress.
She also posted about her brand new look on Instagram, posting two photos of herself - one before the awards ceremony and one of herself on the red carpet, referring to herself as a 'Momma bear' in the caption.

Ever the joker, Cardi pulled a prank on the audience when introducing Shawn Mendes to the stage to perform his song 'In My Blood'.
Cradling a blanket in her arms, she made out as though she's brought her six-week-old daughter Kulture onto the stage and could be showing off her first glimpse of the little girl since giving birth to her on 10th July.
But, of course, Cardi was just messing about - and pulled the blanket out of her arms to reveal a Moonman statue (a VMA award).

Cardi was nominated in a whopping 10 categories at the VMAs, going on to win Best New Artist, Best Collaboration for Jennifer Lopez's 'Dinero' featuring DJ Khaled, the Song Of Summer category for her track 'I Like It' featuring Bad Bunny and J Balvin.
