Carl Fogarty warns Jake Quickenden to take care of his daughter Danielle: “I’ll be watching you!”

Jake Quickenden got a shock on this morning’s Lorraine when Carl Fogarty – the dad of his new girlfriend Danielle Fogarty – surprised him with a pre-recorded message.

The I’m A Celebrity campmates are set to be spending more time with each other now Jake’s taken up with Dani – but Carl reminded him he still needs to be on his best behaviour now he’s out of the jungle.

“I’ll be watching you,” Carl said in his message.

“When you have your Sunday roast here sometimes, try helping now and again, clearing up. I know you were a bit lazy in camp but back home you should try and help out a little bit, mate.” Terrifying.

Yesterday, Jake opened up about his romance with Danielle, telling the Daily Star Sunday that he’s fallen for her “hook, line and sinker”.

“I can happily say it is love,” he added. “To be honest, I couldn’t ask to meet a better person than Danielle. We get on so well and are both really happy.”

Speaking to Lorraine this morning, Jake said he first set eyes on his girlfriend at the I’m A Celeb after-party and just talked, before moving on to messaging around Christmas time.

“It started off really slow because I wanted to concentrate on trying to do well and stuff and she was cool and then all of a sudden the past month or so it’s gone to the next level,” he added.

“She’s a diamond, she’s beautiful and she’s nice and it’s just going really well.”

N’aww. But seriously Jake, make sure you do the washing up round the Forgarty gaff, yeah?
