The star had only been dating Andrew Brady for three months before he'd put a ring on it and - despite countless warnings about her man - even got a tattoo dedicated to him.
So you can imagine that when critics slammed the age difference between her and Andrew, she was having absolutely none of it.
Cazza, who is 11 years older than Andrew, spoke out about the age gap during an interview with The Mail on Sunday.
"What can I say?" she started. "You can’t help who you make a connection with.
"My mum says we seem like best mates – and that’s all I want."
The Love Island presenter also dished on the engagement and claimed she had no idea it was coming.

"Andrew proposed totally out of the blue and it was very low key," she said.
"I had no idea he was planning on asking me to marry him! But I knew things felt different in the lead-up - from the very first date with Andrew I felt as though I’d known him for years. I’ve never had that feeling before."
She's choosing to ignore the haters and enjoy the ride, adding, "I don’t read people’s opinion online because if you believe the good then you must believe the bad, so I choose not to believe any of it.
"I know what’s in my heart. Let’s enjoy life rather than bringing people down!"
