Caroline Flack has tragically passed away aged 40.
Caroline was found dead at her London flat on Saturday afternoon (February 15th) after she recently stepped down from Love Island presenting duties.
Caroline's family confirmed the news in a statement, saying, "We can confirm that our Caroline passed away today on the 15th February.
"We would ask that the press both respect the privacy of the family at this difficult time."
Caroline appeared in court last December, where she pleaded not guilty of assaulting boyfriend Lewis Burton. She was on bail and the trail was set to begin on March 4th.
Earlier in February, she had announced that she would soon speak out on the coverage surrounding the case, "'I'm going to speak today… mine and my family's life is no longer up for entertainment or gossip."
Earlier this month Lewis showed his support for Caroline on social media, saying, "Caroline is my girlfriend. Anything else you read is untrue."
Caroline won Strictly Come Dancing in 2014, and has also appeared in the West End playing Roxie Hart in Chicago.
She hosted some of the UK’s most popular TV shows including The X Factor and I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here NOW!
But its her time presenting ITV2's Love Island for which she's best known.
At the time of her step back from Love Island ahead of this year's winter series, ITV posted a statement.
'"TV has a long-standing relationship with Caroline and we understand and accept her decision. We will remain in contact with her over the coming months about future series of Love Island."
Our thoughts are with Caroline's family and friends at this devastating time.
