The 14-year age gap between Cazza and Hazza caused a bit of a stir where she was not only named a cougar but also more harsh words aimed at her were 'cradle snatcher'.
However in a new interview with the Daily Telegraph the 35-year-old admitted that although the relationship was ‘quite strange’ the whole situation was something that was blown out of proportion.
Caroline reportedly added: "I'm not going to ever apologise for it because there was nothing at the time that was serious or bad and nobody was getting hurt."
