American singer Carrie Underwood has announced the birth of her second child, a healthy baby boy!

Carrie, who shot to fame when she won American Idol in 2005, announced her happy news on social media, by sharing a number of adorable photos with her husband Mike Fisher and her son Isaiah.

Revealing the couple have decided to call their newborn Jacob Bryan Fisher, Carrie wrote, 'Jacob Bryan Fisher entered the world in the wee hours of the morning on Monday...his mom, dad and big brother couldn’t be happier for God to trust them with taking care of this little miracle! Our hearts are full, our eyes are tired and our lives are forever changed. Life is good...' [sic]

Fans of the country singer were quick to comment on the set of cute photos, congratulating Carrie and Mike on the birth of their new arrival.

One user wrote, 'BEAUTIFUL FAMILY!❤️ Congrats on your new bundle of joy💙😊💙', with another adding, 'Oh that’s fantastic.....Congratulations to all of you! 💕'. Another commented, 'Congratulations beautiful!!! Beautiful family 😩❤️'. [sic]

Carrie and Mike first announced they were expecting their second child in August 2018, with Carrie telling fans, "Mike and Isaiah and I are absolutely over the moon and excited to be adding another little fish to our pond."

The loved-up couple have been married since July 2010, later welcoming their first child Isaiah in 2015.
