She’s branded herself as “Head Bitch In Charge” and last week divided the nation into people who found it hilarious versus those who found it hideous when she misheard that David Gest – not David Bowie – was dead.

That wasn’t her only big row in the house. Tiffany Pollardsquared up to Angie Bowie during a task, too, shouting, “You’ve been running around like you’ve done 80 lines of coke, just running back and forth. This shit is for fun. Take a breath.” Ouch.

Tiffany, 34, is also famous for her bust-ups with love rivals on reality show Flavor Of Love and, speaking from her home in New York, mum Michele Rothschild-Patterson tells heat why no one should get her daughter’s back up.

Is Tiffany being herself in the Big Brother house?

Tiffany’s a powerful personality. Right now, she’s just finding her vibe and working out what the housemates are like, but Tiffany will fight back to survive. You have to be abrasive, you have to have that edge. This isn’t real life – it’s a game. Just like Flavor Of Love, this is a TV show – they threw her into a house with a group of girls. It’s like any actor or actress, you have to play a role. She’s doing a paid job – it’s a performance.

Will there be anyone in the house she’ll get close to?

There are no kindred spirits in the house for Tiffany – the Queen Diva must stand alone. Tiffany stands alone. She doesn’t have a sisterhood in that house.
