History changed forever today when the UK decided to leave the European Union after 43 years of fun, croissants, Abba songs, and, y’know, awesome human rights and stuff.

And now a whole host of celebs have taken to Twitter to mourn the EU referendum result.

Whaddaya mean, heat doesn't do politics? Don't you even remember when we cornered David Cameron and got him to talk about the Kardashians?

Anyway. One of the first celebs to react to the voting results was JK Rowling, who had backed the Remain campaign all along, and expressed her shock in a simple tweet.

She was followed by the likes of James Corden, Niall Horan, Phillip Schofield, and Jacqueline Jossa, all of whom were heartbroken and outraged that the Brexit had been pushed through.

Check out these hopping mad celebs' reactions below:

Katie Hopkins

“Congratulations to everyone on the RIGHT side of history #Leave #EURef”

And, of course, Donald Trump was super happy about the result too, which is always terrifying.

He said: "I think it's a great thing that's happened. It's an amazing vote, very historic.

"People are angry all over the world. They're angry over borders, they're angry over people coming into the country and taking over and nobody even knows who they are.

"They're angry about many, many things in the UK, the US and many other places. This will not be the last."

Sigh.

Anyone else fancy moving to Australia?
