There was a clash of sequins last month when dance enthusiast Louie Spence laid in to Celebrity Big Brother contestant and ex-Strictly Come Dancing professional James Jordan.
It appeared to have started when Louie told BB host Emma Willis that he loathed James and went on to say that he would chose James’ ego to chuck on the scrap heap, and said that he would actually trample on him.
But as we thought, that just scraped the surface of their fall-out – which James had started last year.
We caught up with Louie at the InTheStyle launch to see what James had done to make him hate him so much. He told us:
Well I don’t hate him because hate’s a very strong word, I don’t know him. I don’t have much time for him.
"I think that when I was in the Big Brother house he tweeted that I was an idiot and that not all dancers were like that and hashtag not like him at all.”
James wrote at the time: "So bored on my own I'm watching BB! I know some idiots in the dance world, but Louie Spence has made it into my top two. #Notalllikehim."
So Louie was simply paying James back for the abuse he got when he starred on CBB?
Louie told us: “I mean I’d never met the guy and when I come out literally I didn’t even look, someone told me, and I just thought well you know it’s a nice opportunity just, you know, have a little bit of feedback while he’s in there with no defence from somebody he doesn’t know."
And Louie took to Twitter to do just that, tweeting: “I have never met James, when I was in the BB house he wanted to voice his opinion, I like this game #getjamesout”
Louie added: “But I think that watching the program [BB Bit on the Side], the reason I said that was because of that. And it was just a little bit of banter in that sense but it looked like he dug his own grave anyway because I seemed to be the least of his worries. Seeing everybody else’s comments that seemed to go on there and on BB Box and, you know, that’s what you do when you go into Big Brother, you take a chance. You go in there for profile and money darling and however you come out that’s the risk you take, and that’s the risk he’s taken.”
