It was recently revealed that dating expert Eden Blackman would be waving goodbye to the Celebrity Dating Agency and leaving the show after four series helping some of our fave celebs find lurrrve.
He took to Instagram last month to break the news: “Today I informed the team that I won’t be returning to my role at Celebs Go Dating if and when the show comes back for Series 5.
“I’m immensely proud of the show’s success but after 4 great series, it’s now time for me to fully commit to my other projects.”
There has been speculation that Eden’s decision to quitcomes after he and co-star Nadia Essex had fallen out over Eden’s alleged affair with Chanelle Sadie Paul, a Kim Kardashian lookalike who appeared on the show’s third series.
However, in the statement, Eden kept things amicable: “I’m thankful to everyone at Lime Pictures and C4 for the opportunity, I’ve had a great time and following its best rated series to date, wish them nothing but more success for the show moving forwards.”
Now, Nadia has addressed the feud.
"I haven't spoken to him. I think a lot of people did think it was an April Fools joke,” she told The Sun.
"We really made something for four series that I'm utterly proud of. I am so proud of what we did.
"It's his decision, he made it, for his own reasons. I have to respect it."

Eden Blackman
1) It’s all about ambience
Eden says: "From the music you pick to get you in the mood, to the lighting and temperature – creating that perfect setting makes both of you feel at ease. "Think instrumental music and low lighting – Professor Robert Pickard agrees, 'Evidence suggests that people are more likely to feel romantic if they are alert, warm and relaxed.'"
2) Phones off
Eden says: "...And we mean the whole night! The most thoughtful compliment you can give your date is your complete attention. Respect their time by being entirely present during the meal."
3) A little planning goes a long way
Eden says: "Make sure you get the ingredients for your home cooked meal in advance. It is no coincidence that food & love go hand in hand, but there is more to it than just delicious food and an effect on taste buds, there is a science to the perfect meal. "Considering ingredients such as red meat can help to provide vital nutrients and minerals that not only benefit your health but also trigger chemical reactions in the body that can contribute to your success."
4) Don't turn the date into a job interview
Eden says: "Ask questions, but don't interrogate, the perfect date is all about cultivating a feeling of comfort and ease, it's about forging a connection not conducting an inquisition. Where you can, talk about subjects that you are both interested in and keep ex's well away from the conversation."
Nadia also revealed who she’d like to see replacing Eden in the dating agency office.
Speaking about receptionist Tom Read Wilson, she said: “He's my favourite person on the planet so the fact that I work with him everyday anyway is phenomenal — but if he's sat next to me in the office together, for me that be would a dream.”
We’re very much on board with this too, tbh.
