We at heatworld aren’t ashamed to admit we love a good old fashioned celeb feud. We eagerly followed the dramz of Kim K and Taylor Swift, are still reeling from Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker’s showdown over the weekend, and we’re still waiting to see if Cheryl and Sarah Harding will ever put aside their differences for a big Girls Aloud reunion.
But two people we never thought would be on our celeb feud list are Olly Murs and Chanelle Hayes.
In what could be the most random fight of all time, the pair got in a Twitter spat after Chanelle was rude about his ability to be a judge on The Voice.
She posted: “How is Olly Murs a judge on a talent show though?? One of the most annoying people on the planet, can’t even sing himself?? How is he so liked??????? #TheVoiceUK”.
Predictably, Olly Murs fans kicked off, and Chanelle’s Twitter exploded with tweets about the controversy – which then ended in the man himself getting involved.
Olly tweeted: “Can someone please tell me who this lady is??! but honestly thanks for watching #TheVoiceUK we love your support
Chanelle then replied saying: “anytime Olly ”
We’re very, very confused.
Her shade throwing at Olly didn’t end there. When someone tweeted Chanelle reminding her of the time Olly tweeted about gunshots during the Oxford Circus shooting scare last year, that turned out to be a false alarm, Chanelle replied: “I know what a douche move I literally died reading that story #NotTheOne”.
In summary, Chanelle reaaaally has a problem with Olly.
