The former Two and a Half Men star was planning to wed his 25-year-old girlfriend, but recently decided he’s not yet ready to walk down the aisle.
According to a statement from Charlie, the pair’s split was mutual and drama-free.
He said: “Scotty and I had a great year together as we travelled the world and crossed a lot of things off our bucket list.”
"She's a terrific gal—but we've mutually decided to go our separate ways and not spend the rest of our lives together."
He continued, "I've decided that my children deserve my focus more than a relationship does right now. I still have a tremendous fondness for Scotty and I wish her all the best."
Charlie, 49, proposed to adult film star Brett on Valentine’s Day during a romantic holiday in Hawaii.
The actor has been married previously. He wed Donna Peele in the early 90s, but the marriage was annulled in 1996.
He then married Bond girl Denise Richards in 2002 but divorced before the birth of their second daughter, Lola Rose.
Charlie THEN tied the knot with third wife Brooke Mueller in 2008, but the pair dramatically split in 2011.
