The identity of the mystery Hollywood celebrity who was reportedly diagnosed HIV positive has been widely debated ever since RadarOnline broke the news on 2 November. New reports now suggest the actor in question is Anger Management star Charlie Sheen.

Since those reports, it's been claimed that Charlie Sheen's ex-wife Denise Richards allegedly knew that he was HIV-positive for years.

Sources have told US Weekly that the World Is Not Enough actress knew he had the disease, however her children are not HIV-positive. The source explained that he "got infected after they were together, four years ago or so."

Denise, 44, was married to the former Two And A Half Men actor for four years, during which time they had two daughters Sam, 11, and Lola, 10, the pair then divorced in 2006. Both Denise and Charlie have yet to comment on the claims.

Charlie who is infamous for his party animal antics is set to appear on The Today Show on Tuesday 17 November to confirm that he is HIV-positive.

Numerous reports had been circulating that a high-profile actor was HIV-positive and last night Radar Online reported that it's Charlie Sheen.

Sheen, who has boasted of sleeping with more than 5,000 women has also parted ways with his longtime publicist Jeff Ballard.

In a statement on 16 November Jeff explained that they had "parted ways" after "a disagreement on how to handle a situation."

"We have had a 35-year friendship and I love him. I wish him nothing but the best."
