Charlie Sheen is set to reprise his minor role from Ferris Bueller's Day Off in an upcoming episode of The Goldbergs.

In the original John Hughes classic, Charlie starred as a ‘burnout’ who managed to woo Jennifer Grey’s character at a police station.

The episode of the comedy series- which is currently shown in the US- sees one of the main characters try and re-enact Ferris’s epic ‘Day Off’, allowing Charlie to reprise his famous minor role.

The latest TV appearance comes in the light of rumours that Charlie is set to return to Two And A Half Men for the famous sitcom’s finale in 2015.
