We’ve now been obsessed with whether Charlotte Crosby, Gary Beadle and his, um, parsnip will live happily ever after for half a decade.

There were the years it never seemed possible, when Gaz was happy to welcome Charlotte into his bedroom, but never into his actual life as a real girlfriend. Then, at the end of 2015, they appeared to give it proper go… before breaking our hearts and splitting again.

Then, last week, we spotted the pair snogging each other’s faces off in Australia during a Geordie Shore promo trip – could it finally be working out for our favourite Geordie couple? We caught up with Char to find out…

You and Gaz were all over each other in Australia and he’s admitted “not pulling anyone else” – what’s going on?

Me and Gary aren’t together, we’re not in a relationship. We’ve been close in Australia because we spent some time together and we’re both single now. But I’m not ready to jump into a relationship with him after five years of what he put us through. My guard is still massively up and I’m not the same girl as I was five years ago.

I don’t know if we’ll ever be in a relationship, because I don’t know whether that’s what I want. It’s so much pressure as well. I don’t want people to think we’re a joke – there’s a lot of feelings there for Gary. I’ve known him for five years of me life, I do love him to absolute bits… but whether it would work in a relationship? I don’t know that and I’m not ready to find out yet.

Was there parsnip time?

Just dates. One time, I slept in the same bed as him, but we didn’t have sex because I was on my period.

Are you and Gaz getting your own spin-off show (as reported last week)?

No, people are getting confused. The new series of Geordie Shore is me and Gary going head-to-head [in challenges].
