You know a celebrity video is destined for viral-dom when it opens with a positive pregnancy test. Charlotte Crosby brought fans to tears last week, as she revealed her lovely news in an emotional montage that showed her telling family she’s having a baby, and attending a sonogram where the TV star heard the “tiny little heartbeat” for the first time.
“A moment I wasn’t sure would ever be mine is here,” the 31 year old captioned the video, where she’s seen kissing her partner, Jake Ankers. “I couldn’t be happier to be sharing it with you all… I’m having a baby.”
Within a day, the happy announcement clip had well over 4million views, with friends and fans rushing to congratulate her. Actress Daisy May Cooper commented, “THIS IS AMAZING!”, fellow expectant mum Olivia Bowen added, “Congratulations angel”, while reality star Lateysha Grace gushed, “Charlotte I’m so f--king happy for you! I could cry.”
The CBB winner has been celebrating her news on holiday in Dubai with Jake and friends, where she showed off her growing bump on the deck of a superyacht. From the poolside, Charlotte shared a longer video on YouTube, where she admitted it’d been a nightmare keeping the news a secret – particularly from her Geordie Shore besties, Holly Hagan and Sophie Kasaei.

Calling it a “huge moment”, she told the camera, “I can’t tell you how hard it’s been keeping this from two people who know us better than anyone – and especially Sophie, because I’m with her all the time! I don’t know how I’ve done it! There’s been a couple of times where she’s asked us, ‘You haven’t been out in a while, are you pregnant?’, and I’m like, ‘I just haven’t fancied it.’”
Charlotte also shared the moment she told her grandma, saying, “It’s the happiest I’ve ever seen her.”
It’s been a difficult journey for the reality star, who’s been dating businessman Jake since January. She previously opened up to heat about surviving a devastating ectopic pregnancy when she was dating Gary Beadle. “I didn’t know what the hell was going on and I was in so much pain,” Charlotte admitted at the time.
“Then the X-ray showed how much damage had been caused. Because I’d left it a week, it’d torn open my Fallopian tube and I was bleeding internally. [The doctor] said, ‘If you’d have left it any longer, you could have died.’”
She added that it left her “scared I wasn’t going to be able to have babies. I want to have children.”
We couldn’t be happier for you, Charlotte.
