The former X Factor star Cher Lloyd has announced the arrival of her first child.
Taking to Instagram on Monday 28th May, Cher revealed she had given birth to a baby girl on Friday 25th May. The singer also revealed the name she and husband Craig Monk had chosen for their daughter: Delilah-Rae.
Sharing an adorable picture of the newborn, Cher wrote: "Our baby girl is here!

She also posted another picture of baby Delilah-Rae's teeny, tiny feet with two silver rings looped over her toes.

Cher announced she was pregnant in April 2018, and also took the opportunity to tell fans at that she was busy working on new music.
As part of a long Instagram post, she wrote: "As you all know, making music and singing is where it all began for me, it’s what makes me truly happy, and I wanted to get back to that happy place once again, enter the studio and focus on simply making great music for you all.
"I’m so happy to announce that I now have a collection of amazing new songs (that I cannot wait to share with you all!), but also, there’s another reason why I’m writing to you today and that’s because I am beyond thrilled to inform you all that my husband Craig and I are also expecting our first child in May!!"
Cher also recently spoke out about why she no longer speaks to her former X Factor mentor Cheryl.
Appearing on Lorraine, Cher explained: "Admitting she hasn't spoken to Cheryl for ages, Cher explained: "I haven't heard from her in a long time. I mean, she's so busy with her baby."
Cher did reveal she's well on board with Cheryl and X Factor pal Liam Payne's relationship, though, saying: "I never would have guessed it, but they look so cute together and they make a really great couple."
