Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Kimberley Walsh have been the best of pals since Girls Aloud were formed on Popstars: The Rivals back in 2002.
So it’s no surprise Kimberley has chosen Chezza to be one of her bridesmaids at her nuptials to Justin Scott in Barbados later this month.
Kimberley’s wedding has come at a slightly unfortunate time though. Cheryl is currently in the process of divorcing Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini after just 19 months of marriage.
A source told The Sun: “Kimberley sorted the date for her wedding ages ago and Cheryl is absolutely going to be there to ensure her friend’s big day goes to plan.
“She’s played a huge part in the preparations and being involved has at least provided her with a bit of a distraction from her own troubles.”
Cheryl and JB tied the knot in Mustique in July 2014 after dating for just three months.
