Cheryl Fernandez-Versini ‘lashes out at Amanda Holden for body-shaming comments criticism’

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini reportedly lashed out at Amanda Holden after the Britain’s Got Talent judge criticised the singer.

X Factor judge Cheryl is said to have sent a furious text message to Amanda after she slammed the former Girls Aloud star – who recently suffered taunts from people who thought she was underweight - for speaking out about body-shaming.

Earlier this month, Amanda told the MailOnline: “It’s a little stupid to say it should be illegal.

“When you’re in the public eye, you have to take the good with the bad.

“You can’t complain. I think she’s gorgeous anyway.”

However, Cheryl didn’t take too kindly to Amanda’s opinion despite her offering the warbler a compliment.

A source told The Sun on Sunday: “Cheryl was furious for what she saw as stupid comments.

“Rather than her remarks being about her own weight, Cheryl was trying to protect the younger generation.

“Amanda has told pals that she was really upset about the text message.”

We guess they won’t be exchanging Christmas cards this year...
