She may have announced that she was quitting the X Factor for good last week, but could she have been snapped up by the show in a different country?
Reports say that the geordie star could be going back on her decision and joining the X Factor Australia along with new boyf Liam Payne, as the Aussie show are "trying their best to entice them".
An insider told the Daily Mirror that "X Factor UK have given their blessing for the Aussie team to approach Cheryl. They think having Cheryl and Liam on the panel would be a great coup so are trying their best to entice them. It's at the
very early stages at the moment but who knows what could happen. But moving to Oz would be a huge step for Cheryl and Liam, especially so early in their relationship".
After admitting to the Daily Mirror last week that she "had a feeling for a long while" that she wouldn't be returning to the show, it was accepted that Cheryl wouldn't be making any kind of reappearance on the show. But now these reports are floating around, there is hope for us Cheryl fans yet!
Cheryl said upon confirming her exit from the show: "I have had such an amazing experience being a judge on the X Factor. I have learnt so much and enjoyed nurturing talent but I've missed making music and am excited to be recording
again. I want to thank everybody I have worked with along the way, especially Simon who I love to bits. I hope the show continues to produce stars and I wish them all the best".
