But, the question on everyone’s lips is – will she do it live?
Poor Cheryl got a right Twitter battering after her performance on* the X Factor,* with people accusing her of not performing live in the pre-recorded set.
The former Girls Aloud star has not denied the claims but her celebrity friends have been quick to defend the singer – who’s looking likely to bag the number one spot in this weekend’s charts with her hit* I Don’t Care* – including X Factor choreographer, Brian Friedman.
“I’m p**sed that people are claiming Cheryl mimed on Sunday night because I know first-hand that she sang live," Brian wrote in his Daily Mirror column.
“She was doing different ad-libs in her vocals than she planned and she stepped out of some of the choreography so she could focus on singing.
“It’s about how you feel when you leave the stage that matters – nothing else matters.”
Right-o, Brian.
The 31-year-old will be joining One Direction, The Script and Boyzone for the charity show, airing on Friday 14 October, on BBC One.
