When your mum and dad are both pop stars, there’s got to be a certain amount of showbiz in your DNA. At least that is what Liam Payne and Cheryl seem to have discovered about their four-year-old son, Bear.
Speaking last week, Liam admitted that he and his ex-girlfriend were worried about Bear following in their footsteps after discovering he has a penchant for pop. "We really don't want him to be famous," said the 28 year old, who might have a fight on his hands.

"Cheryl walked in the other day, and he was in his bedroom, it was about 9 o'clock, and he was supposed to be asleep,” Liam revealed, “He’d set his iPad out on the floor, and you could see the little red line going – and she was like, ‘What are you doing?’ and he was like, ‘I’m recording a song, can you not see?’ And he was going, [sings] ‘Like a sunshine'. So funny.”
He went on to say that he was nervous that Bear was interested in music so early because he knows, “what that can do to you.”
“You almost know too much from my side if you know what I mean,” the former One Direction singer admitted. “But I’d never stop him doing what he wanted to do and he absolutely loves [it].”

Cheryl and Liam take to Twitter to confirm their split. They say: "We are sad to announce that we are going our separate ways. It's been a tough decision for us to make. We still have so much love for each other as a family. Bear is our world and we ask that you respect his privacy as we navigate our way through this together."
Liam has previously spoken about how he and Cheryl - who split in 2018 - were trying their best to keep their little boy out of the limelight as they want him to have his own identity.
He revealed, "Obviously we protected his identity at first and that's not being pretentious or anything other than the fact that I want to give him a chance to be Bear first before he has to be his mum and dad's son. What I love when I see my son is that he can be anything he wants in that moment."
But it's clear Liam - who recently got back with ex-fiance Maya Henry and appeared on the red carpet with her last week - loves being a dad and says Bear definitely has the performing gene in him.
“He went to rehearsal with [Cheryl] the other week for her show that she put on and he stole the microphone off, he went topless, he had the dancers dancing around. He’s obsessed with The Weeknd and Ariana Grande.”
