Cheryl and Liam Payne’s relationship was definitely NOT something we were expecting to see in 2016.

Georgia May Foote getting a FITLORD new boyfriend? We probably could have predicted that.

Marnie Simpson writing an explosive autobiography? As soon as she starred in Celebrity Big Brother, we knew it couldn’t be long.

Kylie Jenner becoming Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna’s new landlord - OK, that whole situation was actually rly unexpected.

It was literally one bombshell after another. First the fact that they were together, then the Twitter feuds, then the engagement and baby Dream!

Crazy.

But the ONE relationship we never, ever thought we’d see goes to Cheryl and Liam, who surprised us all in February.

Can you believe it’s been a whole ten months? NOPE.

As soon as the couple were spotted together in Tesco, we started hunting for clues that this was an actual thing way before we knew about it.

In February, he called her ‘babe’ on Instagram and said he’d meet her at the Brit Awards.

In December, Liam got a rose tat on his hand that resembles the MAJOR artwork Cheryl had inked on her bum.

But this video might be the proof we missed that Cheryl and Liam were getting together as far back as December 2015.

Taken after the X Factor final in 2015, the video shows Chiam getting down to Jason Derulo’s Talk Dirty.

They even get a bit touchy-feely as Liam walks across the stage. Oooooh!

Does this mean the couple are celebrating their one year anniversary right now? Who would have thought it…
